Stopped In Your Tracks! Why Do We Often Feel This Way?
We often feel overwhelmed so we don’t even try to begin. Is it hard to start? Of course it is! I won’t lie to you!
But, not starting, results in feeling “stuck”. I hear this all the time. I know we feel that we’re the only one…but, hey many say they feel stuck! About 90-95% of my new clients tell me that’s why they decided to get coaching.

One of the things I’ve realized is how many of my women entrepreneurial goddess clients feel torn between spirituality and materiality. They really want more money to have a better life for themselves and their families, they want more travel experiences, and to experience a life of beauty.

A primary component of the LOA that goes beyond where you place the focus in your thoughts, words, and actions is “allowing.” Abraham, channeled by Esther Hicks, often talks about allowing or letting go. This is akin to saying your prayers at night and going to sleep “knowing” all is well and your prayers are being answered. If it doesn’t come about right away, keep monitoring your thoughts, words, and actions, which have an old habit of worrying or complaining…. “nothing’s happening.”

I thing much more than being a solo-entrepreneur! My goal is to reach more folks-midlife boomer women, especially & be known as “The Transition Chick” the one to call when you’re facing a change in career/life…and all the rest.
I’m using an entrepreneur’s biggest weapon-their creativity & passion. The animated video, The Career Hero is in the “editing room”! I wrote the script out of what my clients often say about the job search jungle-and I entertain & educate!

Great things work when all the energies are aligned in pursuit of your goal. When you harbor thoughts of doubt or fear, such as “I can’t see how this is ever going to work,” you are getting in your own way and stopping the LOA from bringing you results. When you speak words of negativity and lack, such as “I don’t have enough money to do that,” you are getting in your own way and not allowing the LOA to do its work. And when you take actions that are counterproductive to your commitments, such as eating foods not on your diet plan, you are getting in your own way.

We’ve been told for years that the best way to learn something is by example. That is why we are taught by teachers, use computer tutorials, and follow examples and exhibits in books. But what about in day to day life? Are there people that you can follow that intuitively know exactly what your needs and wishes are, so that you can copy their actions and/or solicit their advice? If I had to guess, I’d say not. So how does one go about finding someone to learn from? Go look in the mirror. You can achieve the things that you desire most in life, by following your own lead. There is a three step process: Be-ing, Do-ing, and Hav-ing.

Having spent 4 days exhibiting my best selling book at Book Expo. America it’s been a very interesting, energizing yet exhausting couple of weeks which is also the reason there was no copy for the blog last week.
The one thing that came across very clearly from talking to the dozens of people who stopped at the booth, is that women are still not totally OK with making themselves number One.

Recently I was watching the movie Back To The Future. That’s the one with Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd where Fox goes back in time and meets his parents when they were in high school. During the course of the movie, his father ends up standing up for himself, which he had never done before, and when Fox returns to the present time, his entire family is in a completely different place.
So it got me thinking. One act completely transforms a life. Now, I realize this is the movies and life isn’t nearly so clear cut, but the truth of the matter is we ARE the results of the choices we make. And our life right now is the end result of the choices we made yesterday. And what our life is tomorrow is the result of what we’re choosing to do today.
